Sound Of Japan Live

COMPANY PROFILE

Concert promotion for Asian music groups and solo acts since 2003. Based in Budapest, Hungary.

We organized our first concert for a Japanese band in 2003 which was followed by many more with acts representing a wide range of different music styles (pop, rock, punk, various electronic genres, metal, traditional music and so on), working on every level from smaller club gigs to bigger scale concerts.

Since 2014 we also started to work with Korean acts, organizing the first K-Pop concerts in Hungary.

Over the years we became a well-known local specialists of Asian concerts, with a solid working relationship with local press, venues and also, backline, security and catering companies.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Besides bringing dozens of acts to Hungary by ourselves, we also assist other local promoters that work with Asian acts. We have excellent connections to the local Japanese and Korean music fanbase and community, so we offer help with promotion and if needed also act as consultant or provide an experienced, specialist crew at the shows.

We are also responsible for the concerts that take place at Mondocon, Hungary’s biggest anime convention.

Some of things we are proud of:
* We were the first to bring J-Pop, J-Rock and K-Pop performers to Budapest.
* We brought such legendary acts as Shonen Knife and Pata of X-Japan to Hungary.
* J-Rock: Japanese visual kei / metal band Versailles performed for nearly 700 people in 2010.
* J-Pop: in 2010 Kokia, the Japanese pop singer known for her anime songs performed for over 1500 people at Mondocon.
* K-Pop: Teen Top, the first K-Pop group to visit Hungary performed for over 1000 people in 2014.
