On Feb. 6, we found out that due to the vocal cord problems of Kyo (vocalist) of 5-piece rock band DIR EN GREY, they have hurriedly cancelled their American tour (14 cities.) The doctor-in charge of the diagnosis for Kyo's throat problems said it is "vocal cord nodules" and a "voice disorder". They have decided to cancel the tour based on the doctor's decision.

The management office commented, "His pharyngeal polyp has gotten worse so the diagnosis called for an early surgery." and "Along with the surgery, there are more tests needed right after." Currently, their plans for activity are "unconfirmed".

3 years ago, in 2009, Kyo was immediately hospitalized for vocal cord inflammation and edema of the larynx. They had to postpone their Sendai and Sapporo shows and an affiliate has said, "Kyo's throat had been weak even before. He is tired from the overloaded schedules and lives from last summer. He probably needs rest for a while."

Welcoming their 15th anniversary since formation, DIR EN GREY who is also popular in Asia and Europe, had planned to tour 14 US cities'live venues (1000-3000 person capacity) kicking off in Seattle from Mar. 7 to Louisville on Apr. 7. Among them was a 10,000 person venue live in Dallas, Texas.

Hasonló műtéten átesett előadók (pl. Adele) esetében az volt h legalább 2-3 hónapig nem beszélhettek (nemh énekelni), szóval ez minimum fél év kiesést jelenthet koncertek és hangzóanyag szempontjából.
Remélem, h mielőbb felépül Kyo, nem akarok még egy Hizumit :|

Igen, Hizuminak az a baja h senki sem tudta megmondani mi a baja...

Egyébként meg jah, itt is megy azért h már egy ideje járt orvoshoz Kyo, meg h ez állítólag tényleg a 2009-es betegségének hozadéka.
Hallani ezt is, azt is, inkább nem kommentelném a rajongótábor reakcióját, mert szokás szerint a legalja... :|

Szerintem rájuk is fér egy kis pihenés, az elmúlt 2-3 évben gyakorlatilag folyamatosan turnéztak, amikor pedig nem, akkor az új albumot vették fel és ez nem csak Kyo-t viselte meg fizikailag.
Shinyát pl. vállrándulással kezelik a decemberi koncertes balesete óta.

Igenigen, szükségük lenne rá, szerintem is.

Utána néztünk kicsit a szakkönyvekben Kyo betegségének, és uhh, hát nagyon nem könnyű ez. Nem akarok riogatni senkit, és persze pletykát se akarok indítani, szóval én csak őszintén remélem, hogy időben észre vették. Biztos már egy kezelik vele, vagy legalábbis remélem, mert én például már egy ideje nem hallottam róluk.
Szóval igenis tartson sokáig a gyógyulás, és addig ne énekeljen egyáltalán, csak épüljön fel, legyen teljesen egészséges újra.

én annyit tudtam meg aknotos belsős emberkéktől h 2009 óta folyamatosan járt kezelésre, különösen az utóbbi időben gyakran
