I’m sure by now most readers have heard about the V-ROCK FESTIVAL ‘09 which is taking place on October 24th and 25th.
Well, there’s great news for those who can’t actually attend the concert. They are going to be broadcasting it live — for free. The way it is set up allows for limitless, simultaneous access, so no one will be left out!
They will be relaying information to those watching, such as what’s going on at the shows, having studio talks, and of course, showing portions of what’s going on on stage. The broadcast will be hosted by DJ Asai Hiroaki, who has worked for ROCK KIDS 802, NACK5’s BEAT SHUFFLE and OSM.
The airing times are October 24th from 11:00am – 9:00pm, and October 25th, also from 11:00am – 9:00pm.
They ask that you download and test the broadcasting software before everything starts, and it will be available starting Octber 20th at 7:00pm.
Note that this is not a live broadcast of all the performances at V-ROCK FESTIVAL ‘09. While they say they will show live footage, they will be showing those who cannot attend the ‘face’ of the concert, the booths that are set up, the fans, signing events and fashion shows. There will be artists that are performing that will not featured on-air.
