channel-ai-n találtam két lefordított interjút Alannel. Az első még a Voice of EARTH albuma előttről, a másik pedig már utána. Mindkettő a Red Cliff című filmre koncentrál, de vannak benne más dolgok is. Mindenesetre szemezgettem a szövegből, hátha valaki nem szeretné elolvasni az egészet.

It’s really easy for me to sing Chinese since I can understand it straight away. It’s a bit harder for me to fully appreciate the Japanese lyrics so I have to actually feel the subject of what I’m singing.

And I tried dancing in Sora Uta. It was very traditional-like so it was really difficult (laughs). I’m quite hopeless at dancing so the teacher had to teach me from the very beginning.

I never imagined that I’d actually become a professional artist; I thought it’d always be a distant dream.

I can’t really tell though but with the people around me telling that, I can slowly let myself think that I am becoming more professional-like.

Before I even debuted, I had a meeting with the directors and general staff. When they asked me “What kind of songs do you want to sing?” I replied “Songs about peace and love,”.

Kuon no Kawa - The themes for this song are love, faith and the strength to endure. I sang this song in such a way that I could really get these themes across to the listener.

I don’t have much experience with fast paced songs. However, I also want to sing a wider variety of songs too, in order to expand my repertoire. So because of that, I’m listening to a lot of J-pop to learn more about it.

But if you look at my photos, you can see me looking down or looking up or my hands shaking too much and then the photo always becomes something different. And then, looking at all those magazines with articles regarding the film festivals, it’s like I’m the only one who’s got it wrong (laughs). I guess it’s also because I’m nervous but looking at yesterdays publication, I was the only one who’s hand was blurred.

^ Kicsit nyomott a hangja ennek a koncertnek, és kicsit agyontömörített. De nem rossz, még élvezhető. DVD-n biztos jobb lesz és nem lesz megvágva sem.

Mindenesetre nagyon tetszik, ahogy Alan énekel élőben, jó kis koncert lesz ez. És Alan erhun is játszik majd, remélem nem csak egy dalt. :)
